Ordering and payment
How can I pay?
Kainos accepts Bitcoin only at launch through a self-hosted BTCPay Server. Credit cards and PayPal are not accepted.
When is an order placed?
Checkout creates an order pending payment. The BTCPay invoice and payment reference connect the Bitcoin payment to that order.
Does Kainos run discount sales?
No. Kainos does not run sitewide discounts. Codes are limited to membership and affiliate referral programs.

Shipping
When is shipping free?
Standard shipping is free when the order reaches $200. A flat rate applies below that threshold. Active members receive free shipping at any order value during their purchased term.
Will tracking be provided?
Yes. Tracking is provided on every shipped order. Packaging is discreet.
Are delivery dates guaranteed?
No. Processing and carrier transit estimates are informational. A tracked shipment can still be affected by carrier conditions outside Kainos control.

Products and intended use
What does Kainos sell?
The opening catalog contains 24 research compounds and ancillary research supplies in the listed variants.
Are products intended for people or animals?
No. All products are sold strictly for laboratory research. They are not for human or veterinary use, diagnostic or therapeutic procedures, food, cosmetic use, or human consumption.
Does Kainos provide product-use instructions?
No. Kainos does not provide personal-use, administration, preparation, or experimental instructions.

Membership and referrals
Is membership a subscription box?
No. Membership is a one-time purchase for a disclosed term. It does not auto-renew and does not authorize recurring billing.
What is included?
The term includes free shipping at any order value, member pricing, a welcome drop, custom label colors, and a referral code that can earn store credit.

Quality and testing
Is every lot tested?
Every released lot is third-party tested and paired with a published Certificate of Analysis.
What appears in lot verification?
The record shows compound, weight, lot, purity, identity, measured net content, test date, laboratory, expiry status, accession, and the signed COA when published.
What if a lot number is not recognized?
The verification page returns a distinct “Not a Kainos lot” result. An unknown identifier is not treated as authentic.

Returns and order help
What should I do with a wrong or damaged item?
Keep the item and all packaging, record clear photographs, and contact Kainos promptly with the order reference and a description. Do not send material back without return instructions.
How are refunds issued?
Approved refunds are issued in Bitcoin. The amount and destination details are confirmed as part of the return review.
