Research Use Only

A controlled material belongs in a controlled setting.

The label defines the boundary: qualified laboratory research, documented lot identity, controlled storage and handling, and no human or veterinary use.

Section 01

Intended applications

Kainos Aminos products are supplied only as laboratory research materials. Appropriate applications are controlled investigations conducted by qualified personnel in facilities equipped and authorized for the material involved.

Products are not for human or veterinary use, diagnostic or therapeutic procedures, food, cosmetic use, or human consumption. They are not sold as drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or household products.

Section 02

Storage requirements

Follow the lot-specific handling statement, product record, and signed source documentation. Storage controls must account for the received form, container integrity, access restrictions, environmental monitoring, and institutional requirements.

Do not infer a storage condition from another compound or lot. If the published record lacks information required by a facility, quarantine the item from active work and request clarification before proceeding.

Section 03

Handling precautions

Restrict handling to trained laboratory personnel using a documented hazard assessment, appropriate engineering controls, personal protective equipment, inventory controls, and disposal procedures. Preserve the label and lot identifier throughout storage and internal transfer.

Avoid direct contact, ingestion, inhalation, environmental release, or access by unauthorized people or animals. In an exposure or spill, follow the facility's established emergency procedure and seek the appropriate professional response.

Section 04

Lot identity and documentation

Before relying on a Certificate of Analysis, compare the vial's printed lot number with the Kainos verification record. The record should identify the compound, weight, lot, laboratory, test date, identity, purity, and measured net content.

Keep the signed certificate with the research inventory record. An unrecognized lot number is a negative verification result and should not be treated as a close match.

Section 05

Researcher responsibility

The purchaser and research institution are responsible for legality, researcher competence, protocol review, facilities, controls, recordkeeping, hazard communication, security, and disposal. Kainos does not approve a study or determine that a material is fit for a specific investigation.

Research-use labeling is a restriction, not a workaround. Purchasing from Kainos constitutes agreement to keep the material inside the lawful laboratory-research setting described here.
